Are you looking for a sporting activity in Isère, close to major cities such as Grenoble, Lyon and Valence? the Ecouges canyon is a real adventure for thrill-seekers. Located in the Vercors massif, this great day of canyoning will be unforgettable.

You have chosen the canyon des ecouges intégrale after your reservation we will send you an email with all the information in return we will ask you your canyoning experience and your height and weight. In this canyon, it’s essential to be well equipped. Depending on your measurements, we can supply you with a sub-combi so that you don’t feel the chill of the water in the upper section. You’ll also need to pack a picnic lunch to replenish your strength between the two sections of theEcouges canyon.

We’ll explain the day’s schedule, adjust your equipment and set up the car shuttle, which saves us a long and tedious walk.
And off you go, before plunging into the deep recesses of the upper part of the Ecouges canyon, the instructor will give you a briefing on abseiling techniques, progression on handrails and all the techniques needed to traverse this canyon.
Throughout the day, you’ll learn and take part in setting up rappels, progressing as part of a team…

The adventure begins with this impressive upper section, a veritable defile of rock and water. The first reminders get you into the swing of things before the serious stuff starts, as soon as you feel your heartbeat quicken! Don’t panic, your instructor knows the canyon inside out and will always have an eye on you to help and advise, making sure your progress is smooth and that everyone feels confident.
The top section ends with a magnificent65m abseil over the road.
A short picnic allows you to regain your strength before starting the more playful lower section, which contrasts with the upper section, where the sun is out and the jumps and slides are too!
At Terra Nova Canyoning, we don’t do things by halves, so when we say canyon des Ecouges intégrale, we mean an integral canyon.
As a result, we won’t be taking the traditional canyon exit as other structures do, but instead continuing down the Drevenne river to pick up a few obstacles further down, including a magnificent 9m jump and an ejector slide.

As all good things must come to an end, we’ll return to the cars we left at the bottom of the canyon for a 15-minute walk, to unpack and say goodbye.
